This prediction technique is similar to Krishnamurthy Horary Astrology.

In KP Horary Astrology, Querent (Who is asking question) gives one number between 1 to 249.

In this Prashna Navamsa Theory Querent gives whatever number comes his/her mind except 0 number.

But tell the Querent do not give any number like, favourable number, lucky number, birth date such kind of number should be avoided. Because by taking such number, it would effect on result, so try to avoid such number.

Prashna Navamsa Theory Method: In this Prashna Navamsa Theory when Querent gives any number that number should be divided by 12 and if any remainder comes, consider that remainder as Navamsa and Prepare horoscope of that particular date, time and place.

If 0 remainder come then take Pisces Navamsa.

If Querent gives number between 1 to 12 then take that number as Navamsa.

For this theory we have to write Mars in following way, similar to Navamsa Theory.

Mars is placed in 2^nd house [Mars is Lord of the houses (2^nd house (Scorpio sign) and 7^th house (Aries sign)] is in Constellation of Mercury, Mercury is placed in 11^th house [Mercury is lord of the 9^th house (Gemini sign) and 12^th house (Virgo Sign)], Mars is aspecting to 5, 8, 9 by its 4, 7, 8 aspect.

In Short form we can write Mars as follow.

Mars 2 (2, 7) in constellation of Mercury 11 (9, 12), aspecting to 5, 8, 9 houses.

 For Job House grouping which is used in KP Astrology i.e. 2, 6, 10, 11.

Here, Mars signifies 2 and 11.
